Paintings begin with drawings. If one does not know how to draw, one becomes more easily frustrated with their paintings. Value is also very important. Have you ever heard your child say,"I can't draw."? I have heard this from over 100 children. At the beginning of each program the children will draw a before picture. This picture is drawn so that the child can compare their old drawings with the new drawing. Watch your children's confidence grow as they see themselves improving on their skills. Your children will learn what most adults never learn. These classes have been designed to ensure that children 3rd grade and older understand the concepts. These classes are taught in a way that will enhance not only their drawing skills but their math skills without realizing they are learning math. Lines, dimension, measurements and comparison are math skills that are inherent within these classes. Students enjoy the classes so much, they are disappointed when the class is over.
